A Work In Progress
I tend to use different methods when I approach a painting, as I will sometimes also work on paper. I do not hold myself to strict guidelines in my creative process other than the true, basic and obvious principles when developing a painting such as surface preparation, fat over lean etc.
For this one, I begin with an underdrawing using graphite. Then I add my pattern element (filigree) in acrylic. Then I seal the surface before I begin the Oil Layers.
